Patricia Thompson 

 

Patricia, grew up in Jacksonville and is a long-time resident of Ponte Vedra Beach. She attended Tulane University School of Architecture, in New Orleans, where she earned a Master of Architecture degree. She also pursued graduate studies in architectural historic preservation at Columbia University and the University of Florida. Patricia has worked on many high profile preservation projects in Washington, D.C., including the White House and Ford's Theatre. She was also the project architect for the restoration of The Old Georgia (Civil War era) Governor's Mansion in Milledgeville, Georgia.

When she returned to the Ponte Vedra area in 2002, Patricia started her own residential practice. In 2008 she continued her practice while teaching residential and commercial design, and architectural history at The Art Institute of Jacksonville, where she also served as Chairman of the Interior Design Department. From 2009 to 2014 she served on the board of Beaches Habitat for Humanity where she designed prototype homes, pro-bono, for residents of the Jacksonville Beaches.
